What Does a Rally Crew Do?
The rally crew’s work is varied and essential. Volunteers take on different roles depending on their interests and skills. Here are some common tasks:
START/FINISH CREW
This is a 2-day position for those who can't make the journey but still want to be a crucial element in the success of this rally. Your job will be assisting registration and forms during the starting lineup, set up and tear down banners, decorate, hype crowds, hand out swag to spectators and more.
EVENT MODEL
Looking to spice up your portfolio? We're seeking Event Models to wear our Event merch, sponsor swag, and pose with the cars and Teams throughout the trip! You will also have full usage rights to Post and Share wherever you wish!
DETAILER
Your role involves collaborating with the Teams to ensure their vehicles remain spotless. This includes tasks like removing bugs, cleaning windshields, and checking tire pressures. You'll be at the forefront of maintaining the cars' pristine appearance! You'll need to follow the drivers' instructions precisely and care for their cars as if they were your own. This position comes with strict guidelines.
SUPPORT VEHICLE
Travel in the Support Van, which carries tools, luggage, and other equipment to ensure the rally continues smoothly along the route. Collaborate with the Teams and Staff to ensure a seamless journey.
SAFETY COORDINATOR
Provide assistance during emergencies and be available to support drivers and crew. Your role will involve being the primary contact for evaluating situations and offering help for the Event as part of the Support Vehicle team. You MUST be trained in CPR, capable of managing dehydration, minor cuts, and burns, and able to coordinate professionally with authorities when necessary.
PHOTOGRAPHER
SECURITY - Event & Night Watch/Security
Each role is vital to the smooth running of the event. You’ll receive training and support to perform your duties confidently.

Sign Up Early
Rally events often have limited volunteer spots. Register as soon as possible through the official Crew Member Form
Choose Your Role
Indicate your preferences and any relevant experience. Don’t worry if you’re new; many roles are beginner-friendly.

Most rallies provide training before the event to cover safety protocols, communication methods, and specific duties.
Prepare for the Event Day
Dress appropriately for outdoor conditions, bring necessary supplies like water and snacks, and arrive on time.
